Alexander Zverev is making his way back to the top 10 of the ATP rankings. The German player recently reached the semifinals of the ATP Masters event in Vienna. This strong performance has helped him move up to 12th place in the rankings. Zverev is now just 105 points away from breaking back into the top 10. He is currently ranked 12th in the world according to the ATP Tour official website's recent update on August 21, 2023. The rankings are based on a player's performance over the past 52 weeks.

Zverev's ranking has been on the rise since he returned from injury earlier this year. He won the title in Montpellier in February and reached the semifinals in Indian Wells in March. He also made the quarterfinals of the French Open and Wimbledon. Zverev's strong play has him in contention for a spot in the top 10 by the end of the year.
