How to identify your Fire TV Stick
There are two ways to identify your Fire TV Stick:
- Look at the remote. The remote for the 2014 Fire TV Stick has a microphone button on the top. The remote for the 2015 Fire TV Stick does not have a microphone button.
- Check the model number. The model number for the 2014 Fire TV Stick is "Montoya 27." The model number for the 2015 Fire TV Stick is "Montoya 28."
