MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - The Dallas Mavericks defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves 105-100 on Tuesday night at Target Center, extending their winning streak to three games. The Timberwolves, who had won 10 of their previous 11 games, dropped to 25-10 on the season.
Luka Doncic led the Mavericks with 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 8 assists. Kyrie Irving added 24 points and 6 assists. Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 23 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Defensive Struggle
The game was a defensive battle, with both teams struggling to score at times. The Mavericks held the Timberwolves to just 41.7% shooting from the field, including 26.9% from three-point range.
