Clemson Downs NC State; Injury Bug Bites Wolfpack

Tigers Roll to 30-20 Victory

The Clemson Tigers football team picked up a big ACC victory on Saturday, defeating the NC State Wolfpack 30-20 at Death Valley. The Tigers were led by quarterback DJ Uiagalelei, who threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Will Shipley also had a big day, rushing for 120 yards and a touchdown.

The Wolfpack were led by quarterback Tyler Brown, who threw for 210 yards and a touchdown. However, Brown also threw two interceptions, which proved to be costly for NC State.

Injury Bug Bites Wolfpack

The Wolfpack were dealt a tough blow in the second quarter when Brown went down with an injury. Brown was replaced by Ben Finley, who struggled to move the offense. Finley finished the game with just 50 yards passing and an interception.

The injury to Brown was a major setback for the Wolfpack, who were already without several key players. Running back Demie Sumo-Karngbaye and wide receiver Thayer Thomas were both out with injuries.

Tigers Take Control

The Tigers took advantage of the Wolfpack's injuries and took control of the game in the second half. Uiagalelei threw a touchdown pass to Shipley in the third quarter and another touchdown pass to Beaux Collins in the fourth quarter. The Tigers also added a field goal in the fourth quarter to seal the victory.

Clemson Moves to 6-0

The win improves Clemson's record to 6-0 on the season. The Tigers are now tied for first place in the ACC Atlantic Division with Wake Forest.

NC State Falls to 3-3

The loss drops NC State to 3-3 on the season. The Wolfpack are now in third place in the ACC Atlantic Division.
